Religion is the central core of our curriculum. The program is designed not only to present a well-organized exposition of subject matter enhancing the Catholic faith of the home but also bring each student a personal experience of faith and deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ as He is revealed to us through the Bible, Sacraments and the people around us. Weekly Mass and daily religion classes are a required part of the St. Mary’s Catholic School curriculum.
Our days begin and end with prayer. Students, kindergarten through eighth grade, attend mass each Wednesday. Opportunities for ministry during the liturgy are offered in a grade appropriate manner. Gospel values and Catholic social teachings are integrated and practiced throughout the school day.
